Alexey Makhinko Graphic Designer

Trained in Europe as an industrial designer, Alexey is inspired and influenced by an eclectic group of artists, designers and architects that encompass: Kandinsky, Rodchenko, Mies van der Rohe, Gaudi and Brodovitch.

After completing his studies, he worked for 15 years as both a designer and art director for a diverse client base that included: UPM Kymmene, Baskin Robbins, Carlton Cards and Toys'R'Us.

Alexey is a member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario and recently completed the Marketing Certificate program at the University of Toronto.

Altandesign studio was established in 2007 by Alexey and his partner, talented graphic designer and illustrator, Tatiana Rusanovska.

In tandem with an award-winning team of designers and illustrators, Altandesign provides small and medium sized organizations with effective visual solutions for communication challenges - from conception to final delivery.
